Promoting the Breeding and Development of Young Hunters in Texas and throughout the United States.

Created in 2012, the Texas Super Series Green Hunter Stakes (formerly Texas Pre-Green Super Stake Series) served as a pilot for the USHJA Pre-Green Incentive Program with Great Southwest Equestrian Center serving as home base.

Introduced in 2015, the Texas Hunter Breeding Super Series was created as a lead-in to the Texas Super Series Green Hunter Program, featuring a $7,500 3 Year-Old Freestyle Performance Class, designed to encourage development of more young Hunters.

2016 brought new bonuses and incentives to the Super Series Group's already exciting Texas Green Hunter Final Championship, including a $2,500 plus 20% add back Rider Ranking Tier 2 purse and a $500 Non Pro Bonus award.

The Super Series Group kicked off the inclusion of 3’6”/3’9” Green Hunters in 2017, offering a $5,000 “Spectacular” for these horses at their fall Championship event. In 2018, a full program with enrollment and a $10,000 Championship was added to the roster. While the full Texas Hunter Breeding program was discontinued, the group continues to offer the $7,500 3 Year-Old Freestyle Performance Class.

In 2019, the Super Series Group programs’ payout crossed the incredible $1 Million Payout milestone! As of the conclusion of the 2020 Finals, payout will more than cross the $1.1 Million mark!

New in 2020, Performance Hunters will have their chance to participate in the Super Series Group’s programs through minimum $1,000 plus add back Stakes and a $10,000 Championship! Many horses were enrolled in both programs and benefitted from the opportunity to participate in both.

Also new in 2020, 4 year-olds were added to the $7,500 Freestyle Performance class, with both overall and per-age award winners selected.
